It is considered proper by some to choose and work within a pantheon- god/goddess set. One may choose to work outside a pantheon and mix their deities. As for me, I choose a the dual natures masc/fem sides of “one ambiguous deity” and now use two separate deities.

I wear a pentacle most of the time and I use symbols and runes when I do candle magic. But other then that I rarely use them. Having said that I know some that use them everyday.
